Srinivasa Ramanujan born Srinivasa Ramanujan Aiyangar, 22 December 1887 – 26 April 1920)[2][3] was an Indian mathematician who lived during the British Rule in India. Though he had almost no formal training in pure mathematics, he made substantial contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series, and continued fractions, including solutions to mathematical problems then considered unsolvable.

Rules:
open to ALL Intermediate students (Grades 7 and 8). Students outside of the Ross Drive family are permitted to participate in this year's math contest
students may only take ONE of the tests
Grade 6 students who wish to participate may choose the Grade 6 test to complete. This is not recommended to Grade 5 students unless otherwise discussed with your teachers.
students must complete and submit their test on the date and within the time given (test will be made live on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Note: The test will take one hour to complete and all tests are time-stamped)
any test submitted after 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 10th, 2020 will not be assessed.
test scores will be revealed to student and participants will be awarded the following certificates: "Highest Score for Grade Level" "80% and above Performance" "70-79% 70 Performance" and "Honourary Participant". All students will receive an award for participation in the contest.
